Education
I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Calgary, which has fueled my passion for technology, problem-solving, and machine learning. Throughout my studies, I’ve been able to dive deep into various aspects of computer science, starting from foundational concepts like Data Structures and Algorithms to more specialized areas like Software Engineering and Deep Learning for Vision.
In addition to my coursework, I had the opportunity to work as a Student Researcher in an internship under Dr. Farnaz Sadeghpour. During this experience, I developed a machine learning model using RNN and LSTM networks to predict human movement on construction sites. This project allowed me to get hands-on experience with gathering and preprocessing sensor data, training models, and evaluating predictive accuracy; skills that I’m eager to continue developing.
I’ve also worked extensively with Python, Java, and JavaScript, and I’ve gained practical experience with tools and technologies like Django, React, SQL, and Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn. I’m always striving to stay updated with industry trends, constantly learning and experimenting with new techniques in software development and machine learning.
